About Us

Gardner First Baptist Church was organized in 1879 and until 1958 the building was located on main street.
The original building still stands and is now an apartment house.
The present sanctuary was constructed in 1958.
Offices and Nelson Hall were added in 1969. Kramer Center was built in 1990.

The purpose of this church is to help fulfill the commission of our Lord Jesus Christ found in Matthew 28:18-20. We do this by calling people to discipleship through regular worship, Christian education, personal evangelism, missionary endeavor, fellowship and Christian service,
in this community and throughout the world.
