Children are important to us here at First Baptist Church.  We take seriously Jesus’ command, “Permit the children to come to Me; do not hinder them for the kingdom of God belongs to them.”  We want to make sure children have the opportunity to hear and learn about Jesus.

We offer Sunday school classes, Discovery Clubs, Vacation Bible School, and a weekly children’s message in our worship service.  All of this is done to assist parents in raising their children with the knowledge that Jesus loves them and so do we.

We love having kids in our worship services, so you can always feel confident that your children are welcome. We know that often with kids come restlessness and commotion and we’re just fine with that. We do offer bags of coloring supplies during worship, a nursery for young kids, and there is Children’s Church during the Sermon; though you’ll never hear us complaining about sounds of young life in our church family.
